While understanding the story may need some comprehension of the first two movies, we can only anticipate that it will be conspiracy-filled and full of futuristic ideas of death and destruction. All caused by humans grappling for power over themselves and others, and ending in self-defeating plagues. Director Russell Mulcahy has put together a spectacular hodgepodge of a film – well, as far as we can tell from the trailers that have come out already – and you can be sure that everything will be bigger, badder and louder as this film is supposedly the final film in the trilogy. Of course, if it really makes some big money, then we all know that they won’t really mean that… but it’s a selling point that usually works for popular franchises.
